What's the difference between a Quiz and a Training Session?
A Quiz has a fixed set of questions that play in sequence with a competitive leaderboard — great for knowledge checks and games. A Training Session is open-ended: you push activities (questions, polls, open text) to participants whenever you're ready, in any order, without a fixed script. Great for workshops and live teaching.
Is it free?
Buzzr is free to use right now while we're in early access. If you use the built-in AI quiz generator, you bring your own API key — Google Gemini currently offers a generous free tier.
Do players need an account?
No. Players just enter the PIN and a nickname. No sign-up, no email, no app download — works on any phone browser.
How many players can join?
Typical sessions of 50–100 concurrent players run comfortably. Need more? Get in touch.
Can I prepare my training questions in advance?
Yes. The Prepare page lets you build a full activity bank before your session — text questions, checkbox polls, MCQs. During the live session you fire them with a single click, in any order you choose.
Where is my data stored?
Your quizzes, questions, game results and player answers are stored securely on our servers. Nothing is shared with third parties (except when you choose to call an AI API with your own key).
